Three Easy Ways to Find Your Ring Size

1) Measure an Existing Ring

If the recipient already wears a ring on the correct finger:

1. Place the ring on a ruler and measure the inside diameter in millimetres (mm).
2. Match the measurement to the UK size in the chart below.

Tip: Measure across the very centre of the ring. Don’t include the metal.

2) Use the String/Paper Method

1. Cut a thin strip of paper or use non-stretch string.
2. Wrap it snugly around the base of the finger. Mark where it overlaps.
3. Lay it flat and measure the length in mm. This is your inside circumference.
4. Match it to the UK size in the chart.

Fit check: The size should slide over the knuckle with a gentle twist and feel secure at the base.

Quick Tips for Accuracy

• Measure at the end of the day. Fingers are slightly smaller in the morning and in cold weather.
• Check both hands. Dominant hands can be half a size larger.
• Consider the band style. Wider bands can feel tighter; you may need half a size up.
• Half sizes exist. If you’re between sizes, we usually suggest the larger half size.
• Knuckle vs base. If the knuckle is much larger than the base, measure both and choose a size in between.
